About Us

How it happened....

In 2017 we were offered the opportunity to buy "Emsworth", a purpose built Scouting boat originally owned and designed by Dockland Scout Project. Emsworth had not been used for several years and needed a lot of love, cleaning and maintenance to make her ready for 2018.

With a plan and a passion for boating Rod, Paul, friends and family set about the task ahead.

The First Job - Cleaning

Armed with a jet wash, brushes and a tool kit we set about the task, and as you can see from the photos below, it has been hard work. When lifted out of the water Emsworth had a two inch thick layer of fresh water mussels on her hull. These had to be removed which took three days to rub off all the debris and prepare the hull for the new black under-seal.

We evicted families of spiders, cleaned internally, replaced flooring and had all the mattresses professionally cleaned.
