Below is some useful information about us, The Wey Navigation and using the boat.
The Wey Navigation has vast and beautiful scenery to enjoy, during a short break you can travel to Godalming or Weybridge - both with a selection of pubs and restaurants to enjoy. If you have a week - both are within easy reach. You could also venture on to the Thames, this requires an additional license which we can arrange for you.
To help with your planning we recommend you purchase a Waterways Guide which can be found here.
Information for Boat users on the Wey is onboard for you.
If you like an APP on your phone / tablet - please down load "Open Canal Map". This free app is great to help with your planning and knowing where you are during your holiday.
If this is your first canal boating holiday or you want a reminder of what's involved, please read the Boater's Handbook

Based in the middle of the National Trust's Wey Navigation you can cruise North or South out of the Marina.
South will take you down towards Guildford which is approximately 5 hours cruising. There is plenty to do in Guildford - you can visit the Spectrum Leisure centre, go shopping and sightseeing. Beyond Guildford the Wey Navigation takes you towards Godalming and the Surrey Hills - an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The end of the Wey Navigation in Godalming will take approximately 9 hours from our base in Send. An ideal overnight stop for a weekend trip.
North heads to the towns of Byfleet, Addlestone and Weybridge, past the ruins of Newark Priory, Brooklands Museum and Mercedes Benz World, eventually hitting the River Thames after approximately 6 hours cruising.
